We currently have a vacancy for a Geoenvironmental Engineer, preferably with 4-5 years experience to join us in our Congleton office.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Geoenvironmental Engineer at iD GeoEnvironmental Limited, located in Congleton, Cheshire. Work will be office and site based with some opportunities for home working. The Geoenvironmental Engineer will be responsible for conducting site investigations, managing contaminated land projects, and providing technical guidance for geotechnical and environmental assessments. Additionally, the Geoenvironmental Engineer will collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams, prepare factual and interpretative technical reports, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree or higher in Geology, or a related field

Proven experience in geotechnical and environmental site investigations

Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including contaminated land and environmental assessments

Proficiency in conducting data analysis and producing technical reports

Strong communication and project management skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Experience with geotechnical software and modeling tools is a plus

Professional certifications (such as Chartered Engineer or Chartered Geologist) are desirable

Experience in the construction or infrastructure industry is beneficial

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
